NOVEMBER PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN EVENTS

Come join us for a program on “Great Ideas on Ways to Reduce Our Carbon Footprint”, Presented by Myron Willson, AIA, LEED-AP, Director, Office of Sustainability, University of Utah. 











Myron is LEED-Accredited, helped craft a Climate Action Plan for the U of U, Developed a Green Cleaning Plan and has performed Life-Cycle Cost Analysis for several National Park Service Projects

Topics that will be covered include reasons to reduce our carbon footprint and recycle, ways to reduce utility costs, ways to lower transportation costs, how to make energy-saving purchases, and what financial incentives are available through federal and state governments

Women, men and teens are invited to attend.  Immediately following the Church Family Evening Potluck 

PW Christmas Dinner Tickets

Save the date of Friday, December 2nd at 6 p.m. for the Presbyterian Women’s Christmas dinner.  Tickets will go on sale Sunday, November 6th before and after each church service, watch for more details to come.

Prayer Shawl Ministry Circle

The prayer shawl ministry circle is meeting on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7ish, please contact Rae Lindsay at (801) 599-4318 or Dorothy Fleutsch for locations.

PW Ruth Circle

Ruth Circle will be meeting on Monday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. for lesson two.

PW Coordinating Meeting

The monthly Coordinating Team will be meeting on Monday, November 28th at 7 p.m.

      The first Presbyterian Women’s activity of the year is a Bunco Game Night and will be held on September 19th at 7 p.m. in the Narthex.  It will be a very fun activity and will be a chance for the women of the church to get to know one another.  Childcare is available, please sign-up in the Narthex.  The more the merrier.

      PW Farmer's Market has begun and is doing well.  It will run every Sunday through October 2nd between the first and second church services and immediately following the second service in the Narthex.   We will take donations of any of your excess produce from your gardens, fruit from your trees, as well as any baked goods that you would like to donate.  If you donate baked goods please label them with the ingredients.  Please take this opportunity to share your bounty with others and get some fresh produce for your family.  All funds raised go to PW mission giving.

      The Presbyterian Women are looking to start up a Prayer Shawl Ministry Circle.  If you are interested or have any questions please contact Rae Lindsey.
